Review of Bunn NHBX-B Contemporary 10-Cup Home Coffee Brewer

When you buy a Bunn product you know you have bought a product thatBunn NHBX-B 10 cup coffee maker review is worth every penny. Some do go for cheaper brands due to budget constraints. But the cheaper models don’t last long and the coffee brewing quality is also questionable. Whereas with a Bunn coffeemaker you get a quality product with minimum 3 year guarantee. I have come across some people using their Bunn models for over fifteen years. So in the long run, it well worth it going for a well known model like Bunn instead of the cheaper models. The after sales customer support Bunn offers is excellent.

Coming to this particular model,  NHBX-B Contemporary 10Cup CoffeeMaker is a reservoir type that can make 10 servings in just three minutes. It could quickly brew because its internal thermostat maintains high temperature of the water inside the water tank made out of stainless steel. Another feature of the NHBX-B Contemporary ten cup coffeemaker is that its grinder is built-in and this gives you a chance to choose your own gourmet brew. It also has a spray head that helps improve the flavor and taste. Another feature of this machine is its sliding lid, which makes it easy for you to add water. The built-in warming plate helps keep it at the optimal serving temperature for hours.

This model requires very little maintenance (cleaning out once a month, depending on your water quality) and in spite of the slightly higher operating cost are well worth the extra initial cost (sure beats having to go out and replace a cheaper coffeemaker every 6 months or so). Once you own a Bunn, you will always own a Bunn - all else will disappoint in some way.

The only down side that I have found so far is I don't make coffee every day and since it keeps the water hot all the time, it evaporates. Even missing 1 day, enough water evaporates so you dont get a full pot the next time. I have to turn it off using the vacation switch after each use and wait for it to reheat each time. It only takes about 12 minutes to reheat, a minor trade-off for a great cup of java. This model is improved in that you don't need the separate pitcher to pour in the water with. This one doesn't start brewing until you close the lid.
